Blog #4

This is supposed to be my presentation on Cyber-Bullying. My computer crashed in the process of this so I am unable to load my powerpoint but I simply talked about four real life teenagers who ended their life because of pressure of cyberbullying. Amanda Todd, 14 hung herself after peers told her she would never be good enough and that they wished she would die. Ryan Halligan, 14 who was teased at school and he found the thought of going to school nearly unbearable. Megan Meiers, 13 who also hung herself because of being personally victimized by who she thought was a boy down  the road but turned out to be the butt of joke. And lastly, Jamey Rodemeyer, who killed himself because of constantly being teased online and was made fun of because of his sexuality. He posted YouTube videos frequently and his last one was even titled, "Hope." These are all victims that we can hopefully learn from in the future.
